10. Jeopardy
Available on both Netflix and Hulu, you can enjoy this classic quiz show at any time. Fun idea: watch an episode before hanging out with some friends and memorize all the answers. Shout them out and look like a genius.
9. Brooklyn 99
It’s back! After getting cancelled, NBC swooped in and saved the day. Enjoy every season of Andy Samberg’s witty comedy set in Brooklyn’s 99 precinct on Hulu.
8. The Crown
The Crown is a Netflix-original about the life of Queen Elizabeth II. This drama returns for a season 3, but the official date has not been released yet.
7. The Handmaid’s Tale
Based on the 1985 novel by Margaret Atwood, this straight-to-Hulu series has not been out of the spotlight since it premiered in 2017. The first season won 8 Primetime Emmys and was the first streaming series to win a Golden Globe for Best Drama. Season 3 premieres June 5, 2019.
6. The Office
The tried and true. You’ve watched it so many times that Michael, Pam, and Jim are basically your colleagues. I predict that if Netflix ever tried to remove The Office from their platform, something even bigger than the Friends debacle would ensue.
5. Umbrella Academy
Adapted from the comic book series written by Gerard Way, Umbrella Academy is a fast-paced mystery about siblings reunited after their father’s death. Season 1 of this show is available on Netflix only, and a second season is confirmed.
4. Killing Eve
Sandra Oh stars as a spy who develops an obsession with a talented assassin in this thriller. Watch Season 1 on Hulu or Prime Video of this fan fave while you wait for season 2 to come out.
3. Queer Eye
Netflix rebooted this series in 2018 and it has been a smashing success ever since. Queer Eye is a great binge whenever you need a pick-me-up or some inspiration, plus there’s already 3 seasons!
2. Stranger Things
The Netflix hit series about a small town and the supernatural occurrences surrounding it. Both seasons are a nice blend of suspenseful and silly with a fantastic soundtrack. After much anticipation, season 3 is set to air July 4, 2019.
1. Game of Thrones
Winter is coming and so is the next and final season of Game of Thrones, the HBO show based on George R.R. Martin’s popular book series A Song of Ice and Fire. You never know what’s coming next and who’s getting killed off. Season 8 airs April 14, 2019 on HBO.
