Daniel Negreanu is in the house for the 2017 Undisputed Sales Rally! This professional poker player started his presentation on a high note: with a picture of his two puppies. From there, he taught us to stop becoming a victim of your circumstances and instead, own your responsibilities. Don’t make excuses for your situation. Own it. Apologize, and take the steps to ensure it doesn’t happen again. After all, you don’t become one of the best poker players of all time by making excuses and blaming other people.
He also spoke about the importance of setting goals. Daniel sets his goals high -not so high that they’re unattainable- but high enough that they’re out of his comfort zone. The best goals are tangible and will push you past boundaries you thought you had.
Ask yourself, “Who? What? Why? How? And by when?” to set some goals and start living your bigger and better life. If not now, when? It’s never going to be convenient to push yourself and change your life, but setting goals makes the process manageable.
From humble beginnings, Daniel quickly worked his way up to become one of the best poker players of all time. At the mere age of 23, he became the youngest player ever to win a World Series of Poker bracelet.
Today, he has six WSOP bracelets and two World Poker Tour championships, to name just a few of his many accomplishments. Negreanu is also the biggest live tournament poker winner of all time, accumulating over $33 million in prize money.
Besides winning poker tournaments, Negreanu is a published author and can be seen on screen in movies, TV shows, and even a Katy Perry music video.
