Planning one last summer party for the long weekend? Check out these 5 techy ways to plan your best Labor Day party yet.
Create a Labor Day Party Facebook Event
Facebook event invitations are a super easy way to get the word out about your Labor Day event, invite your guests, communicate necessary details, and have a discussion.
To create an event, click the “Events” icon on the left menu of your homepage. Then, click “+ Create Event.” From there, you have the choice of creating a private or public event. If your event is public, anybody can see and search for this event, even if you’re not friends with them on Facebook. Private events will show up only for the invited guests, and you can give your guests the option to invite other guests if you’d like.
Once you’ve chosen your event type, the Facebook template will guide you through putting in the necessary information your guests need to know for your party. Facebook will remind the attendees before your event with a notification.
Jackbox Games
These quick party games are played from your phone for up to 8 players with an unlimited amount of people who can participate as the audience. They’re available on a bunch of digital platforms like Apple and Android TV, iPad, Nintendo Switch, Amazon Fire TV, and more. With 28 hilarious games to choose from, you’ll find something for everybody on your Labor Day event. My personal favorite Jackbox games are Quiplash and Fibbage.
Google Pixel 3
Capture the moments of Labor Day with the Google Pixel 3’s amazing camera capabilities. Using dual front-facing cameras, Pixel 3’s wide angle selfie cam gets everyone in view without ducking and squeezing. Top Shot recommends pictures where everyone in the group looks their best; say goodbye to closed eyes, blocked heads, and blurred faces for good. Night Site brings out colors and details that normally get lost in the dark, so you can still continue snapping pics well into the evening.

Tasty
Cook up something delicious on Labor Day with the Tasty app. Browse recipes by categories like what’s trending, ingredient, cuisine, and social occasion. Once you’ve found your recipe, you can watch a short instructional video along with full written directions, read other users’ tips, and save it to your collection. Trust me, this app is addicting and should not be used when you’re hungry.
Make your guest list and start sending out those Facebook invites! What’s your fool-proof party tip?
