TCC is the largest Verizon authorized retailer in the country, but what sets us apart from the rest is our passion for igniting positive change in the local communities we serve. We place a heavy emphasis on philanthropy at TCC. Each quarter, we put on a company-wide volunteer initiative that gives back to specific groups, like veterans, teachers, the environment, and more.
Our third quarter volunteer campaign is happening later this month! This will be our 6th annual School Rocks Backpack Giveaway. Since 2013, TCC stores have given away free backpacks filled with school supplies to children.
How to Get Your Free Backpacks
The School Rocks Backpack Giveaway is on Sunday, July 22 from 1-4PM. We’re giving away one free backpack filled with supplies per child, while supplies last. Backpacks are handed out on a first-come, first-served basis. Each child receiving a backpack must be there with you at this event.
This is a TCC-sponsored event, so it will only be taking place at participating locations. Click the button to find a backpack giveaway near you at your closest TCC Verizon store.

The cost for school supplies costs more and more each year. Did you know that, on average, parents spend the same amount on school supplies than they do on the average mortgage payment? That’s why we wanted to do our part and make it a little easier for families to afford these essential supplies. We want as many kids as possible to show up on their first day of school prepared, confident, and with a shiny new backpack.
